Oakwood Academy is proud to be licensed by Texas Health and Human Services as well as a Texas Rising Star 3 Star Center. All of our employees have been trained in its curriculum and standards, as well as having received CPR/First Aid certification. All of our employees have been specially trained to follow and adhere to all Texas Health and Human Services Child Care Minimum Standards. Ongoing training is extremely important for all of our employees, which is why we require all of our staff to receive child development training every year, as well as the annual training dictated by the state.
The understanding of how students learn is always evolving, which is why we strive to evolve our practices with it. We want our parents to be confident that their students are receiving the highest standard of education possible at our center.
