The Oakwood Academy has been owner operated for over 40 years. We are a well established neighborhood Day Care (originally opened in 1959). We really strive to create an atmoshpere that makes parents feel as if they are dropping off their children with neighbors or friends while still maintaining a professional demeanor.
We are structured and consistent, yet we provide a relaxed (stress free) and loving atmosphere for the children.
The current owners, Steve and Jamie Mello, have three of their own children and are on site daily to ensure that the children in their care are safe and content. They are always available for parents questions, concerns and comments.
